Film and photo shoots
An eighteenth-century house for your shoot
On days when no event is booked, Dimora Berchiatti can also be hired as a location for film and television, commercials, music videos and photo shoots. The old hall has an eighteenth-century coffered ceiling, a fireplace and painted overdoors; outside, there’s a courtyard, a garden with century-old trees, and wisteria on the façade.

CentoVetrine and Elisa di Rivombrosa
The house has been a filming location for CentoVetrine, the Canale 5 soap opera, and for some scenes in Elisa di Rivombrosa. In the series, the castle in the village, just a stone’s throw from the house, was home to the Marchesa Lucrezia Van Necker.
The spaces
6 spaces, without moving the trucks
In a single day you can go from the old hall to the loggia, and from the courtyard to the garden, while the trucks stay where they are. The old hall and the apartment have eighteenth-century interiors, while the loggia and the upper hall are rustic, with exposed beams and terracotta roof tiles.

The old hall, empty The old hall
An eighteenth-century coffered ceiling, a fireplace, painted overdoors, wood panelling and square-pattern parquet.

The loggia, with the glass wall open The loggia
Wooden beams, exposed terracotta roof tiles and a sliding glass wall that opens fully onto the garden.

The upper hall, with its arches overlooking the courtyard The upper hall
Upstairs, under the roof beams, with a crystal chandelier and arches opening onto the courtyard and the garden.

The courtyard, with the table laid in front of the green gate The courtyard
A green gate, flower beds and a Japanese maple. Every room opens off the courtyard.

The façade with the wisteria, in the late afternoon The façade and the garden
Green shutters, wisteria that blooms in April, a stone path between the lawns, and century-old trees, with a large Norway spruce and a cherry tree.

The apartment, with the enfilade of glass doors The apartment
On the first floor, subject to availability: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an enfilade of doors and painted overdoors.
Light and seasons
The garden changes from month to month
In the late afternoon the sun warms the façade. The wisteria blooms in April, the roses in late May, the hydrangeas in June and the crape myrtles in summer, so the same frame changes colour with the seasons.
Practicalities
Parking and kitchens on site
There is private parking within the grounds for 15 to 20 cars. For bigger productions there is a large public car park in Piazza del Mercato, 300 metres away.
For crew catering there are 2 kitchens and fridges, and the house has 4 toilets, one of them accessible. The ground floor has step-free access.
The house is in San Giorgio Canavese, which has its own junction on the A5 motorway between Turin and the Aosta Valley. It’s 30 minutes to Turin and 30 minutes to Turin airport.

How it works
First the site visit, then the proposal
Send us your dates and tell us what you need to film or photograph. We’ll arrange a site visit at a time that suits you, on a weekday or at the weekend, and afterwards we’ll send you a proposal covering the days for setting up, shooting and packing up.
Shoots take place on days with no events, so the house is all yours. While you work, one of us stays on site in case you need anything. At the site visit we agree on the furniture, the hours and the number of people, based on your shooting schedule. We can also invoice companies.
